Why I am not seeing any skill rest potions in the npc who sells potions, I have fully installed the mod and started the game with mod starter. is it because I simply copied the "normal save" and pasted directly to the "modsave" file which disabled the mod???
god, if this game is 9 point out of 10,,, not making the reset skill points function in the game just cut the rate to6
This mod requires you to start a mod using game by clicking the Play symbol + Gear icon (the bottom one) on the startup window for the game when you start Torchlight 2.
To transfer your normal play save games to the modded game, find the My Games\runic games\torchlight 2\save in your Documents folder, then copy and paste the files in there to My Games\runic games\torchlight 2\modsave to transfer your single player progress.
That should allow you to continue where you left off in a new, modded game. There are other mods that allow you to respec / restat, and even one that just modifies the respec NPC to just do it directly instead of making you buy potions.
If you care about stats in addition to skills, those might be worth checking out.
