Tree LOD Fix

Descriere
Increase the quality of Tree LODs

Use the options menu to select between 4 Tree Lod Resolutions:

  1. Low = Vanilla (512px²)
  2. Medium = noticeably better (1024px²)
  3. High = great (2048px²)
  4. Ultra = totally amazing (4096px²)

NOTE: Tree LODs in Cities Skylines are rendered using a "RenderTexture" technique to save on performance.

Even though this mod improves the appearance, it's by no means perfect.

However, I think it's an incredible improvement and the best part is it has minimal impact on performance.

Still, there is a reason why the developers over at ColossalOrder decided to keep them low res.

So test it out on your system, determine if you're losing FPS or increasing RAM usage, and pick the best setting for your machine.

Personally I can run it on Ultra and I dont see any FPS drop.

Great! strict and fresh were just talking about this.. I just lowered my debth of field so things in the background were blured out anyway since the tree textures looked so bad... thanks so much!! now I don't have to do that-- Paradox said that they didn't change LOD debth during Green Cities when they obviously must have-- good mod... will test later to see if its a prank... but as you said no longer april 1st in 'your' time zone which I guess is in arabia lol :D
