Descrição
Dear Steam Community

This mod is an update of the old All factions unlocked mod. It makes all 115 factions of the Grand Campaign playable in campaign as well as in custom battles. Of course, credit goes to the authors of the original mod.

Note: You won't have a family tree when playing with unlocked factions (startpos editing for GC is broken). To play with DLC factions you need to buy that DLC.

You can change turns per year by subscribing to on of the add-ons listed below. There are also three other mods that unlock factions for Imperator Augusts, Caesar in Gaul and Wrath of Sparta.

Mod Content
  • unlocked: all 115 Factions playable for the Grand Campaign
  • all Grand Campaign factions unlocked for custom battles
  • units added to custom battles for unlocked factions
  • custom traits for all factions based on the original mod (All factions unlocked)
  • victory conditions for all factions
  • difficulty rating for all unlocked factions
  • political parties for all factions
  • and more...

For those who want more

Compatibility
This mod modifies the Grand Campaign startpos and therefore isn’t compatible with other mods that alter it – for example, mods that change the number of turns per year. Large campaign overhauls are generally incompatible as well. Please check your other mods before complaining that factions aren’t unlocked!
That said, it should work with almost any other mod, including those that modify the startpos of a different campaign. Links to turns-per-year add-ons can be found above. Note: you cannot change the number of turns per year in an ongoing campaign.

The mod is fully compatible with multiplayer campaigns. As long as you and your co-op partner have the same mods enabled, you can play with the unlocked factions in multiplayer.
If you encounter any bugs or issues, please consult the Troubleshooting thread.

The mod itself works as intended. If it doesn’t work for you, the issue lies in your game setup.
Please read the troubleshooting thread, search online, or contact official support for help. I create hundreds of mods for various games and simply don’t have the resources to provide ongoing one-on-one support for problems not caused by my mods. I’ve compiled the thread above to share tips that may help you resolve such issues.

Does succession / civil war still occur with factions that have no family tree?

Numidian factions (Garamantia, Gaetuli, Nasamones) can't choose legion tradition.
(Nasamoes male characters can choose)
Tried to modify db/character_skill_node_sets_tables, but didn't work.
Also tried to modify db/character_skill_nodes_tables, but only Nasamones works.
Still don't understand why it works and how to fix more

UPDATE TO ANYONE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE!
I'm silly - and made sure I re-read the full description. Turns out 4tpy conflicts with it - and you gotta install one made by Nordo for that part to work properly.
I just did and it works just fine - got the TPY mod he put out above the main mod in the mod list too.

I'm having an issue where in custom battles every part of this mod works fine - but for the grand campaign it isn't doing anything but altering the views of the campaign map preview of starting positions. I'm running alot of other mods too but none that should alter factions in any way other than some roster flavor and AI aggressiveness changes.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd really love to play as Rhodes

Maybe i need to own every DLC for the game for the mod to work?

I have Reinstalled the mod, verified the files and all that. Still the mod doesn't change anything for me only the standard vanilla factions are playable when i start up grand campaign :(

why when i play cyrene i see no family tree ?

i just tried playing as the gaetuli, but for some reason there is no cultural buildings for desert nomadic culture? also, i cant select military traditions for standing armies, the option to choose a new tradition is just not there, the plus symbol is not there, nor is the card selectable, all cards are empty even though the end turn notification pops up that an army can choose a new tradition.

(For troubleshooting context)
Mod is being ran on its own, in a new campaign, with a clean install.

I see the mod isn't being worked on, so this is just a heads up for future players.
