The beta puzzle was added recently in the v1.3 update of Q.U.B.E. Remember those mazes you used to play where you tilted a ball into a hole or something? Yeah, the beta puzzle is basically that, along with some Q.U.B.E. mechanics and whatnot. It isn't hard, but if you haven't actually familiarized yourself with the game (unlike me, I've played through the damn thing three times), it can be a bit tricky.



There's three achievements to unlock, as far as I know of: Behind the Scenes (getting there), Push Me to Completion (resetting and pushing with the 'force', apparently, a ball towards where it started off), and BETA Complete Me (exactly what it sounds like). I'll be discussing all of them and giving videos and whatnot.

The beta puzzle is located in Sector 5, something you'd find out if you read the description of the Behind the Scenes achievement. About half-way in after you exit the dark-as-hell area, you'll come to a huge-ass room. If you look towards the left when you're in the center of that room, there is a 3x3 hole with some cracks in it. Go towards it and you'll enter the room. Continue on the set path until you reach yellow blocks. Extend the bottom-most one, and climb onto the middle block. Turn around, and jump onto the platform near the red block. Turn around again, unextend the yellow blocks, and extend the top-most one. Jump on that, turn around again, extend the red block fully, and jump on that.

So when you witness the beta puzzle, you're probably saying, 'what the ♥♥♥♥ is this ♥♥♥♥'. Well, I'll tell you: it's your ♥♥♥♥. Now, the instructional video will be below which shows how to solve the puzzle. It's very complex, so honestly, I can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tell you in words.

The last achievement, Push Me To Completion, isn't all that hard. You just have to get close to the 'reset' button, click it, and push the ball (with the force, yes) towards where it was before you pressed the reset button.
