This is the preferred option by self-proclaimed L4D2 professionals as the most balanced option for 2 player campaign. Having less players makes the game harder in general, so much effort was put into balancing.


- STRUGGLE FEATURE - Mash the shove key to kill the special infected pinning you! Fingers not fast enough? You will fall to the ground!
- Much more ammunition for all weapons (except the m60)
- Tank damage reduced to 75%
- Tank HP reduced to 4000
- Less special infected will spawn overall
- No survivor highlights or glows on items, so STAY CLOSE TO YOUR FRIEND!


- If you are pulled by a smoker, and he is unable to pursue you (due to common infected blocking the way) and you're stuck in the "idle" state, you will not be able free yourself using the struggle feature. There is no known fix to this bug yet, so stay close!
- Sometimes, you will be playing as a random survivor instead of the one you chose.
