This is a small mod that adds some tweaks for greek military and garrisons.
It adds two new unit upgrades and provides more recruitment options if you research main military technologies.

• Peltasts and Light Peltasts
  You don't lose the ability to recruit normal/heavy peltats when light peltats become available. Garrison troups will be upgraded into light peltasts and all your old peltasts can be upgraded manually but you're still able to recruit normal peltasts as well.
  
• Light Pikemen
  A light version of the standard pikemen without armour for faster movement and reactions. As soon as you research supply reforms they replace levy pikemen in garrison and in your old armies if you want but you're still able to recruit levy pikemen as well.
  
• Townguard Hoplites
  A hoplite version with heavy armour that replaces all your militia hoplites in your garrisons after researching supply reforms. You can also upgrade your old militia hoplites in your armies but you're still able to recruit militia hoplites if you must count your coins.
  
• New: Spartan Veteran Hoplites
  These hoplites become available via weapon proficiancy. They have the same equipment as normal Spartan Hoplites but better combat skills. Some of them are added in garrisons.
  
• New: Spartan marine for port level 4
  in vanilla there is no reason to build a military port level 4 with Sparta. This mod provides two naval units recruitable only in level 4 to change this crazy thing. But you have to research naval training or professional soldiery to make ships with Spartan Veteran Hoplites or Royal Spartans available.

This mod is made for high compatibility. It is designed for vanilla and not for DEI. Don't use mods that change the units this mod affects. Of course this mod is compatible with all my other mods. Check the links below!
