And then they are calling you noob and shit because you are staying at the objective cause nowadays in Siege being a defender means that you are running around like an idiot with all of your 3 speed defenders trying to spawnpeek enemies before they even reach the target building.
You can try to go after them in an attempt to heal them but they are usually too fast and can't stay in one position for 1 second you you'd most likely miss your shots + you are risking your own safety and you are abandoning the objective which was probably defended by you only anways. So the best way to play Doc is to just hunker down at the objective, find some good defensive positions and heal yourself when needed and hope your team won't die one by one...
