no noclipping into the area above the void, just being spawncamped by the kill trigger. im not even able to move its that spawncampy and cheap

Normally there can be a kill trigger way above the spawn to avoid stuck in spawn. but you shouldnt touch it in SP.

Maybe Source Engine has updated and something changed on that.

Or do you use noclip?
