ReShade is an advanced, fully generic post-processing injector for games.
With this guide i present you 3 preset i made for KOF14.

1. Vibrant colors
   
2. Eyecandy
   
3. Cel-shading Style

The installation of ReShade is extremely easy and after the installation you can change preset on the fly without further steps.

1. Download and run latest reshade release https://reshade.me/

2. Select the game exe (kofxiv.exe) from the game folder.
[usually on "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV"]
And choose "OpenGL"

3. Click Yes for download all the ReShade effects.




Now you can download all the preset you want.

Put the preset into the game folder and run the game.


After run the game, press "Shift + F2" for call the ReShade interface.



Press continue and choose the preset you want.
(Tip: You can rename the preset file with a shorter name)



Now go on the Settings tab and switch "Usage mode" on Performance Mode
(Tip: You can also choose a key for turn On/Off on the fly the preset)



Now close the ReShade configuration and you are ready for play !

If you want try the other preset simple call the ReShade interface with "Shift + F2" and change it from the Home tab.

Self explanatory, this preset add better colors, add contrast and remove the opaque effect in some stages.

• A bit invasive in menus and huds

Simply remove the ReShade files and the preset from the game folder.

On your monitor the colors are too strong ?
You can calibrate the colors.

- Press "Shift + F2" for call the ReShade interface.

- Now go on the Settings tab and switch "Usage mode" on Configuration Mode.

- Go back on the Home tab and search for "Curves.fx" configuration.

.
- Change the amount of contrast you want.

- After you are ok with the result, go on the Settings tab and switch again the "Usage mode" on Performance Mode

Done

Add the Adaptive Sharpen effect for a clear image with more details.

- Press "Shift + F2" for call the ReShade interface.

- Now go on the Home tab and enable the "AdaptiveSharpen.fx" option.
