I would like to encourage new players to practice those skills by hosting games on their own or in Skirmish. If you become comfortable with those skills, I think you should find executing certain tactics a lot easier.

Improving your micro I think it could be the good start for new players. Think chess, people, get to know how to use the pawns and pieces before you jump into some good games.

Later, when in game, new players will need to learn how to open the game, how to make the first assault with a light vehicle, what units and when to buy them, etc. This could be another vid, but it is a lot more complex to discuss all these things because players play many different games and the last thing I want is to teach players how to play 2v2 Workshop or 3v3 Farmland.
