Sørlandet (passenger ship)

Leírás
This is the passenger ship version of Tall Ship Sørlandet asset.
  • Unlike the main version, this asset does not require After Dark DLC
  • The ship is an alternative to the default cruise ship and has lower stats.
  • The ship is propelled by its engine, it doesn't use sails.
If you use this asset in your city, I'd be happy to see some screenshots! I'll add the best shots to the asset page!

We need the ship with sails! Here's a resource with an MDL file? I tried opening it in Blender... but it didn't work...

Hello firstcookonthemoon! I'm planning to recreate most of my CS assets for CS2.

There's not yet info on how to create assets for CS2 or when the asset editor is going to be even released in CS2 but I guess creating assets for CS2 doesn't differ much from CS.

You'll need a 3D editing software like Blender or 3ds Max to make the asset model and a graphics editing software like Photoshop or Gimp to make the textures. Creating a detailed model is quite straightforward. The catch is that you need to find the optimum between the model complexity and resemblance, you have to keep the tris count low and texture size small.

Hey, i really like this asset. I recently started playing CS2 when it launched and i would love to have similar assets for CS2 from several other iconic tall ships i worked on myself and was wondering if you are planning on creating any assets for CS2 and some other general questions on how to go about creating such assets and what info is required. So I sent you a friend request because i rather discuss that in private and thank you for your time.
