MVP Achievement Scenario (v4.3)

Beskrivelse
This Scenario was created to help people get the MVP Achievements in AOE II.
For this to work you need to have your game set to patch 4.3.
You also need to have a partner since you will be having to set this up in multiplayer.

EDIT: This was created in October 2017. I don't think you need to set your game to patch 4.3 anymore to get the MVP achievements, however this map can still be used for it.

as of FEB 2025, this mod asks for dlc the forgotten, and it doesnt work either on 4.3, 5.8 or Latest

Hello!
first: thank you for the 100% achievement guide.
Second: as of now Feb 2025, the scenario doesnt work anymore, it doesnt even show as playable scenario (either 4.3 or newest) and when trying to edit (it does show there) it wont let me because i dont own the dlc's.

I'll try to work around this..

I can confirm this works without needing to revert to version 4.3.
Also you can create your own multiplayer game, fill the 2nd and 3rd slots with AI, click start game, win and repeat.
No need to have another player in the game.

Well, in this scenario you need to have yourself, an opponent and another ally. So the lobby should be set up with 3 civs. You shouldn't need to put the game in version 4.3 anymore. Also, I believe you need another player to get the mvp achievements, I don't think you get mvp badges if you are playing with only ai.

Hi there. I've tried this method on both 4.3 & latest version, but it won't allow me to start a match with just an AI opponent. Any idea what I might be possibly doing wrong?

Heya, I didnt have "The Forgotten" dlc on my other account, so I had to make new scenario using "The Conquerors" on patch 4.3. Worked nicely and got the achiev after very tiring 100 fast games. still thanx for the guide dood :yazdwink:

Yes, that is unfortunately the way it works. However, the alternative is trying to win 100 matches while being the MVP everytime. For achievement hunters, I think they might prefer using this.
