Are you tired of your crewmates only treating you as a superior? Do you just want an alien bird friend? Perhaps a shoulder to cry on after you accidentally hit the planet's core and lost all of your stuff? Then this mod is just for you!
Lumina has recently discovered a new force of nature previously unknown to all intelligent life- a substance known as "Love"! After tireless testing, she has harnessed this "Love" and is now able to unleash its full might upon poor, unsuspecting victims; that includes you, dear reader!

As of right now this mod adds a singular crewmember type; this crewmember comes with dozens of lines of hand-written dialogue unique to each Vanilla race. On its own it's a relatively out-of-the-way mod; you would have to recruit a lot of villagers to have a chance of seeing the NPC in action. However, with Admin commands or a mod such as NPCSpawner+, you can make the friend/S.O. of your dreams!
All of the dialogue in this mod was made with care so that nothing is too focused on romance! So for those of you with aromantic characters who are just looking for a very good friend, don't fret! You can definitely find that here too!

To spawn this npc using admin commands, type:
/spawnnpc [vanilla race here] crewmembersobff [desired level of npc here]
To spawn this npc using NPCSpawner+, first you will have to enter this into the "insert override" text box:
insert additionalnpctypes crewmembersobff

F.A.Q
Q: Will you add modded races support?
A: Yes and no! This mod is compatible with other races, it just doesn't add any unique dialogue for them! They'll adopt the Human style of dialogue if you do give them the crewmembersobff NPCtype. And I'm sorry, I won't be adding any unique dialogue for the modded races! I don't want to overstep my bounds and assume the personalities of those NPC's when I had no hand in making them.

Q: Tenants???
A: At some point! Hopefully! I really want to make them but my mods are on hold as I am unfortunately very busy nowadays!

Just because its unlisted doesnt mean its defect tho, its fine.
If you feel like it, do an update or a version 2.0 to get back on the list :D

@Salomon Those NPCs are added by "Corbent's Interactive Crew". They are variants of the original crewmembersobff npc but with different skills (chemist skills instead of heal).

I love this mod. Massive thumbs-down to chucklefish for unlisting it. Base game Starbound "underperformed in quality" until the modding community added all their creative ideas and fixes!

when I was creating an NPC in NPCSpawner+, I noticed that in addition to the crewmembersobff option, there were also 4 other calls crewmembersobffb, crewmembersobffg, crewmembersobffo and crewmembersobffy!
Does anyone know what they are and if there is a difference?

I know what you said about unlisting this mod and the job offers patch, but I just wanted to say that I am someone who would like to keep it as it makes me smile. I am hoping you never remove it completely. I don't care about usefulness of crew members, I mostly just think they are a cute addition to the game and datebound makes it even better.
