All Armours For WOTC Factions (mod friendly version)

Description
Allows soldiers from the three WoTC factions to use all of the same armours XCOM soldiers can use.

This breaks the game balance somewhat, because the default XCOM armours have better stats/abilities than their Faction-specific equivalents. But doing it this way avoids conflicts with mods that add new soldier classes.

If you aren't using any custom soldier classes, or you feel comfortable editing ini files to make them work, then you may like to use Advanced Armours For WOTC Factions instead.

Known Issues
Faction soldiers wearing the Predator/Warden armour will have an extra utility slot, even though they don't when wearing their equivelant Plated/Powered faction armour.

Skirmishers wearing a Spider, Wraith or Serpent suit will have two Grapple buttons in their action bar. Both of them work and have seperate cooldowns.

These are unfair advantages in my opinion, and make the faction soldiers too powerful, so for a fair and balanced experience I suggest simply not equipping those armours on those soldiers. Your choice.

Technical details / Compatability
Should be compatabile with all other mods.

Always start a new campaign when activating/deactivating this mod. Do not attempt to turn it on part-way through a campaign.

This mod simply adds the line
+AllowedArmors="soldier"
to the Reaper, Skirmisher and Templar class templates, allowing them to use normal soldier armours.

Once I saw the line this mod adds I was able to uninstall it and edit my own configs! Thanks for that!

This mod was not working for me in my giant modlist but It mat be something overriding it. And I run amalgamation which I'm finding is not nice to older mods.

I have this alongside the clone armour mod but only the default customisation options are appearing (the extra armour appear with the normal classes but not the WOTC faction classes).

@Lampros
No, with this one the faction soldiers can use all the same armours as regular xcom guys, including the ruler armours.

The soldier class template from the ini file gets applied to each individual soldier at the moment you recruit them, but they wont get retroactively changed if you change the template after that.

So if you edit the ini file halfway through a campaign it will apply to all soldiers you recruit after that moment, but have no effect on any of the soldiers currently in your barracks.

A question: Are Alien Ruler armor still off-limits for faction soldiers?

why in the world would it require restart if it only adds the lines +AllowedArmors="soldier". Im half curious if I did the edits in the INI if it would work just fine.
