This mod adds a 35% increase to the unit upkeep of the dwarf faction (the one with the high king) and prevents them from confederating so they wil not steamroll the orcs. This actually brings the faction closer to lore. They were a dwindling race not a super power with massive armies steam rolling everyone. This can be used as player as well to add more challenge to playing them. There is some ways to negate some of this with main building chain progress.

Play testing with no other mods result in a more defensive like dwarfs. Most of my tests on hard they didn't expand past 4 or 5 cities and we're able to survive for 100+ turns but not be overpowered like dwarfs are supposed to.

WORKS WITH SAVED GAMES- CAN INSTALL THIS MOD ANYTIME DURING A CAMPAIGN. COMPATIBLE WITH ALL OTHER MODS

I recommend using this with "We_got_da_numbaz" mod which slightly buffs the greenskins.

should work with pretty much any other mod out there.

If there is demand for it, I can make other nerf faction mods or buff =) or i can make a more extreme or lighter version of this one

just a FYI, this removes confederation option from Clan Angrund as well, unfortunately.

As a Vampire player who struggles to maintain 2 and a half stacks of chod while dwarves have 2 stacks of longbeards by turn 30, this is much needed

To make this work in WH2, subscribe to this mod here in WH1, take the .pack file from the data folder in WH1 and put it in the same data folder for WH2, it'll work after you activate it. It's around turn 100 for me with this mod in ME and the dwarfs are still stuck at one province. Agrund is still rolling over everyone but it's not nearly as bad as before. Thanks for the mod!

could you bring this to WH 2 ? Bearded plague is even worse in ME. Maybe not being at war from start would also help greenskin ai. Great work !
