This short guide allows you to prevent the following items from being posted to your activity feed.

Once you're ready for an activity you don't want posted to the activity feed, temporarily set your profile to private. You'll be able to set it back to public or friends only shortly.

Once your profile is private, go ahead and upload, purchase, favorite, or anything else you wanted to do. Once you're done, simply set your profile back to public or friends only. You'll notice whatever you just did hasn't posted to your activity feed. Congrats! You've flown activity under the radar.
