It's difficult to describe Wuppo. Essentially you're a white fluff ball trying to save the world with a Gumgumgun. It is a unique and entertaining 2D RPG.

Positive:
- Quirky but great art style and music.
- Love the small details, like how certain words shake or are bold when an NPC speaks (for emphasis or emotion) or that you can't cut the line at the amusement park.
- This game does not hold you by the hand. There are no arrows telling you were to go. No quest log. No map. You have to figure things out by yourself. Talk to NPCs, read what they say.
- So many side-quests and little interactions. This game really rewards you for exploring.
- Filmstrips will give you more background information about their world. If you're not interested, you don't have to watch them.
- Bosses can be challenging. You really need to learn their patterns.
- Every death is fair. You need to dodge those projectiles or position yourself properly. Get good, scrub.
- I love that the NPCs are active. They're constantly running around, changing hats, buying items/food.
- Shoutout to the Dutch developers who sneaked in Dutch words into their game. Big respect.
- Your happiness is important.
- Boss run is hard and shows you no mercy.
- Large number of items, hats, consumables.

Negative:
- I came across some bugs. Nothing game breaking.
- Waiting for the train and trams can be boring (but the NPCs have places to go too, the world doesn't revolve around you).
- I would have liked to have a map.

Conclusion:
Wuppo feels like a testament to older games: (1) you're expected to figure things out by yourself, (2) if you die, it's your own fault. I love it that the developers decided to create their game in this way. I'm sure that not everyone will feel this way but I really enjoyed Wuppo.
