EDIT: Couldn't help but come up with this:

The day I got The Walking Dead was "A New Day." The game's story was done well, and I got into it fast. There were big twists and events "Around Every Corner." I knew when I started this game, there would be a "Long Road Ahead." I would get so wrapped into this game, sometimes I was "Starved For Help." The journey was amazing, but by next morning, I realized that there was "No Time Left." I sobbed, and went to work, which I now call Savannah.

"I've played thousands of hours and had my heart touched 176 times so far. It really hurts. How do you turn that off?"

"It's okay"

The Walking Dead, famous for the comic and TV show, finally gets a game. Finally. After the release of this, Survival Instinct came out, and we all know how that turned out. Although Telltale's The Walking Dead is obviously the best Walking Dead game, I think it's one of the best of last generation. Trust me, this is one unforgettable ride you don't want to miss.

The gameplay is basically nonexistent in this game. I would be angry. but this is a POINT AND CLICK game about making relationships. Unlike games such as Mass Effect, where you have all day to answer a single question, you have only a matter of seconds to decide your answer. There are a few quick events, but that's about it. Making the decisions, which heavily affect how the story is told, is definitely the key part to the gameplay.

The story is one of the finest I've seen in years. Although most of the story is decided by you (Like I said before) I'll be nice enough to provide the "baseplate." Your name is Lee. You are a convicted killer and you were on your way to jail when suddenly a walker came out of nowhere and stopped the trip. Early on in Lee's trip, he meets a young 9 year old girl named Clementine, who is alone in her treehouse, hiding from all of the walkers. Lee's job is to protect Clementine from all danger. Along the way, he meets some key characters like Omid and Christa, Kenny, Ben, and Lillith. The story was well done, and the ending... Oh man, the ending was one of the saddest moments I've ever seen in gaming. Get this game for the story, whether you watch The Walking Dead or not.

The visuals took some time to get used to, but I got into it pretty quick. They're supposed to look like the comic. I think whoever did the graphics did an amazing job. While I didn't like Borderland's visuals, even if they seem similar to The Walking Dead's, I think this game did a much better job of the comic visuals.

The audio is awesome, especially the credits song. The voice actors played their roles very well, especially Lee and Clementine. Those two characters alone have more emotion than most AAA characters. I highly praise the voice actors.

The replayability, however, is just average. You can replay the game for different outcomes, but I'd think most people just do a one-and-done kind of playthrough. Don't expect much for the replayability.

There are a few problems I have this game. One is the fact that the whole game is covered in bugs and glitches, much like the walkers who roam it. I also think some of the characters were a little poorly done, like Larry and Molly. They seem like there is too much of something for them. In Molly's case, she made me think of Faith from the Mirror's Edge games in many ways. Larry seemed like he was a little too grumpy, and had little personality other than his anger.

Overall, The Walking Dead is unforgettable. The game was very well done and I praise it highly. It's a definite must buy from me if you don't mind the little amounts of combat and the other flaws. If you think you're so tough and you can overcome anything and not cry about it, then how about you give this game a try. You'll regret the day you ever said that comment.
