The overall gameplay experience is very good. The controls aren’t difficult to use and it’s very easy. The game difficulty is well balanced. It is hard to get a perfect city to run properly taking everything the game has to offer into consideration. Regarding the learning curve, it can be a bit hard. And I wish there were some kind of adjustments regarding difficulty, i.e., regarding consumption, economy etc.

The game brings out a lot of excitements and is very interesting to play. This is something you can play for hours and get addicted to. Everything you do in this game has a meaning. It does matter where you place roads, houses, services etc. around the city. By playing and making progress, you will get rewards when hitting milestones that makes sense which makes the game even more satisfying to play.


The game does not have a story, but why not make one yourself? The world feels very immersive, and you feel like you build a living city in a world that has a very good simulation. The overall visual arts and appealing of the game is very good. The sounds and music of the game is moderately engaging.

The HUD in the game is very user-friendly and provides you with a lot of important information. This will help you make more well-informed decisions about whatever to do with your city to make it grow and more sustainable.


The game mechanics are well designed. It has a lot of well-crafted and extensive game content. Skylines has 62 DLC’s which contains different types of content. Separately they do not cost that a lot of money, unless if you want to buy them all at once, it can be a bit expensive. I feel like most of the DLC’s are needed of you want a fully experience.

The AI is average and could be a bit better. Regarding the traffic management, you basically need a mod to help you manage traffics even better because the cars don’t move and switch lanes realistically. The game settings are flexible and customizable. Though I wish there were more settings to help adjust graphics settings etc. to make the performance better.

Overall, there is minor to none bugs and glitches or even issues related to the game.
