Equestrian Horizon was a laid back community for those who were interested in Roleplaying, Cinema or just liked a place to hang out with their friends, or even meet new ones!

The server was based in Europe (France) and we offered a wide array of popular addons to enhance the experience on our Servers, such as PAC, SProps, WireMod, an exclusively custom-made for EH PPM and much, much more.

Farewell Equestrian Horizon!

Greetings all.

I'm afraid I have some unfortunate news I need to share with you all. To put a long story short, after much thought and consideration, I've sadly decided to shut EH down as of 1st August 2018.

I really could go on about why this decision has been made, but it all sums up to it being I've just not got the time I once had to manage EH (I'm sure many of you have noticed the lack of any serious progress in a long while now), things are different, life's progressing quickly and we all move on eventually.

However, EH had a fantastic 3 year (almost 4 year) life, with so many wonderful, interesting and utterly crazy stories and memories that we'll always cherish. Not to mention all the different people that have come and gone with the times, including you!

For those of you who have been keeping up in our Discord Server and saw the recent announcement of the Overhaul taking way, I'm sure you're confused by this sudden change. However it's actually been something I've been fighting myself over with for the longest of times now, and we're already into July and progress has been incredibly slow, so I think it's time to come to terms with reality that it's just not something I can keep up with anymore.

I would like to give a huge thank you to everyone though for being part of and making EH what it's been; an incredible experience for all to enjoy, myself included. I would like to especially give a thank you to everyone who donated to EH, helping to keep it afloat, as well as all others who contributed their time and efforts into creating content and/or Administrating for the Community's wellbeing and experience, and ultimately; to all of you who believed in and made EH what it was.

Thank you all again and I am very sorry things have come to an end. Perhaps new developments will occur in the future, but for the time being it's farewell from me and EH.

Happy Birthday Equestrian Horizon - We're now 3 Years Old!

As every other year, it brings me great joy to say that today is EH's birthday and with it, Equestrian Horizon is now 3 Years Old, the forbidden number.

It's been another great year with so many great, whacky and ever-so-unique people and memories to boot, with an especially fun, super-busy summer full of all sorts going on. As always, it's been a blast and great fun to run such a community for you all!

As with last year, I would like to give a huge thank you to my Administration team for all their hard work and efforts on and off the Server and of course extend it to those who have previously been part of Administration.

I would also like to give a big thank you to you: The EH Community. 3 Years Old, but still just as interesting to see what fun you have up your sleeves. Stay crazy!

Finally I would like to give an enourmous thank you and applause to all those who have contributed to EH by any other means: Such as donating, models, textues, mapping, web design etc. - you guys rock as always!

Here's to another fantastic year. Keep rollin' in the fun folks!

P.S. But Hazbelll, you've not done any major work to EH in goodness knows how long now?
Yes, this is true and I've been meaning to let you all know why. Simply put: Real Life.

Life's not as care free as it was in the early days when I had just finished college. Although I do small things here and there, with much to do, plus with University beginning for me this September, I've unfortunately not had nearly as much time to dedicate to doing much major work that I've had planned for the Server.

But fear not, I hope to remedy this when I do get periods of free time towards the end of this year and in the next. I'll try to work on bits 'n' bobs where I can inbetween as I do have many plans and hope to make them reality as soon as can be. Sit tight!

God, it's been so long since I fully thought about this place. I was looking back through old screenshots, saw a few from EH, and suddenly it was just an absolute flood of memories and emotions. I miss EH so much, literally some of the best moments of my teenage years were spent playing with you guys. Even though my brain isn't the best and I needed something to trigger them, thank you all so much for the memories. I wouldn't be lying if I said the server and the wonderful people I interacted with in it had a part in shaping who I am today, so again, thank you.
