State of the Mod - Wave 53 Studios

This is a quick update on the state of the mod, the team behind it, and what needs to be done to make everything smoother.

If you don't know who this is, I am Ashley Trots of the House ♥♥♥♥♥, the First of Her Name, the Fair, Queen of the Invasion, Queen of the Subreddit and the Steam Group and the Mod Page, Leader of the Great Scoreboard, Poller of Maps, and Mother of Ice Cream.

I am a lead developer and community manager for Full Invasion 2 and the founder of Wave 53 Studios. While I have only been around for a short while, with my help we have been able to revive Full Invasion 2 to its former glory.

State of the Mod:
For those of you unaware, there is a new update coming for Full Invasion 2. We have been working on it for some time and are making good progress. The update is to be called Full Invasion 2: Amber and will be releasing as soon as it is possible.

The team working towards this new update currently consists of 8 senior members. As to who they are, their names and positions will be outlined at the end of this post.

If you are not among those 8, you are not working on Full Invasion 2 and are not a member of the current dev team. If you were once on the team, feel free to say you have worked on it in the past, but please do not go around claiming to be a current developer when you are not. All that does is create problems for the team and slows down our progress on the mod, do not do it.

If you are one of those 8, please have all lines of communication open and use them regularly. If you do not meet deadlines, do not attend meetings, exploit your position, or lack the communication it requires, you will find yourself off the team.

Wave 53 Studios:
Wave 53 Studios is the current team working on Full Invasion 2. This rebranding occurred so we have the options to expand into other fields if it's so chosen. The team still consists of old members, but rebranding allows us to recruit new talent much easier than before.

To apply to Wave 53 Studios, send me a message on ModDB or Steam asking for information. You can find a basic application available on this Steam Group. Joining Wave 53 Studios is no joke or walk in the park, it is a serious career choice to further develop your skills and portfolio in game design. There will be no favors handed out, everyone is required to pull their own weight.

The Future:
As I said above, if you're not officially working on the new update, you are not a member of the development team. If you wish to join back and help out, then contact me on Steam and you will apply like everyone else does. I apologize for the inconvenience, but this is something that has to be done to ensure the integrity of what it means to work for Wave 53 Studios.
